Red Shift released

It's been a while in the making but The Hollowkind’s new album 'Red Shift' is now available from online stores

Released on the 7th September the album ranges from good old British Hard Rock tracks like Devil’s Drone through to atmospheric numbers like The Sleeper.

Red Shift has been released through a number of online outlets. Right now it's available from iTunes and Amazon MP3. Zune, MySpace Music, and Spotify are on the way so you shouldn’t have any difficulty in tracking it down. iTunes users just need to fire up their software and search for The Hollowind.

As other outlets come online we'll let you know. Follow us on Twitter to keep up to date (@Hollowkind).

Featuring an array of expansive guitar sounds, thumping drum sounds and driving bass the album is firmly focused on hard rock but many listeners will find tracks like The Sleeper highly accessible. The insanely catchy The Sleeper has proved popular to a wide audience due to its laid back almost dance orientated groove and atmospheric sounds.

Fans of the old band Golgotha will be amused to see a rendition of Moondog on the album. Compared to the 1980s version Moondog has been trimmed down and features a funkier groove.
